Sunday (16th of June) is Father’s Day.
A day dedicated to Dad and all his glory. Whether he’s the strong silent type, active and energetic, or could talk for Ireland, we have 5 great Father’s Day activities for you, Dad, and the whole family.
5 Great Father’s Day Activities
Gone Fishing
There’s nothing like some quality time with Dad. Create memories that you can both reminisce and laugh about in the future. Depending on the actual goal, going fishing with Dad is a great chance to get to know him better as an adult.
If Dad’s an avid fisher, it’s a 4am start for you on Father’s Day. However, if Dad just likes the idea of it and trying something new, you can at least count a few more sheep before heading out.
Stop off at the local shop to pick yourself up a coffee and some snacks. What’s great is, you can hold them securely in place on the boat with the Muggi. The Muggi fits all manner of drinks and snacks safely with its rubber feet – which means no slipping. It’s also a great gift idea for Dad too.
Making a Masterpiece (Mess)
Whether it’s changing the fuse in a few plugs, making a go-cart from scratch or tidying up the shed. You and Dad can do it together. It’s a great bonding experience and a chance for your Dad to share a few tricks of the trade with you. He’ll love it.
Pop the Uccello Kettle on. Bring out the mugs in your Muggi to the shed and get working on your next mess, I mean masterpiece with Dad now.
King of Spades & Jack of Clubs
When I was younger, I remember seeing my Dad play a number of different card games but it never occurred to me to try and learn them so I could play them with friends myself. Chances are, the Irish weather is going to be true to form and give us a splash of every season, so why not pop the kettle on, make a round of tea/coffee and ask Dad to share and play a few rounds of his favourite card games?
You never know it could become a regular thing.
Chilling & Grilling
The only thing in life better than talking about food is eating it.
Why not compete with Dad this weekend where you have a BBQ off and show each other your Grill Master skills. Who flips the best burger? Who’s charred chicken is the juiciest? Let the rest of the family decide while you and Dad go neck and neck this Father’s Day.
Of course, don’t forget your BBQ buddy, The Muggi – ideal for carrying and holding all you need for your BBQ, glaze, beer, glass of wine, sauces. It’s truly is the perfect gift for Dad.
Teaching Him Tech
Any fans of the games Call of Duty, Fortnite or Halo? If you are, can you imagine logging on and seeing your Dad ready to play? Team up together to defeat your enemies and laugh about it later over a cuppa.
This Father’s Day why not show Dad the ropes, get him into playing it and you could have countless hours shared and laughed about together.
